Victoria Allen-Sanchez PsyD (c),MC, LPC

Master of  Counseling in Community Counseling

Licensed Professional Counselor since 2009.

Co-Owner of company

I have been a therapist in the Colorado Springs, and surrounding areas, for over a decade and a licensed provider since 2009.   I have been sworn in as an expert in adolescent mental health in El Paso County and have worked with teenagers and their families for over seven years.

I rely mainly on Cognitive Behavioral techniques when working with clients however, I will use other modalities when necessary to move someone along further if CBT is not proving effective.  I believe in an integrated model meaning I believe that the mind effects the body and the body effects the mind, finding balance is key.

I have been married to my husband for over 7 years and understand the challenges of being a full time supervisor, student, wife and mother while attempting to maintain my own mental health.  My oldest son (15) is on the Autism Spectrum, My youngest son (12) is twice exceptional with ADHD and a learning disability, and my daughter is a rambunctious and tenacious 4 year old.

I look forward to helping you and your family navigate through your tough times and celebrate your successes.

I have been a therapist in the surrounding areas since 2009.  I have been working in the social service systems since 2004 ranging from DHS, DOC, DYC, along with a few residential agencies. I have been employed as a therapist in community mental health for many years.  Providing supervision and education is something that I pride myself on as many of them have went on to wonderful careers.

I view the world through a systems approach therefore I provide services the same way.  My therapeutic services tend to focus on gaining stability in the system rather than focusing on diagnosis or blame.  I am a strong believer that we are not alone in this world, so why should we try to regain homeostasis alone.

I have been married to my wife for over 7 years and have personally experienced many of the challenges that come with marriage and family.  We have 3 wonderful children that present their own difficulties although we have committed to the challenge and are seeing it through with love, honest along with hard work.
